The crucifixion brings to light several different men, from Roman soldiers to Jewish leaders, and even criminals. What we see is all who called upon the name of the Lord were saved. The Lord never forsakes those who know Him and who seek Him.

There were a number of miracles that occurred during the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The temple curtain was torn from top to bottom, there was darkness for three hours in the middle of the day, there was an earthquake, tombs broke open, and many saints of old were resurrected. What was the point of these miracles and what do these miracles mean to you today? Find out in The Miracles During the Crucifixion.

On Resurrection Sunday, almost 2,000 years ago, Jesus Christ demonstrated His complete and total victory over sin, death, and the grave by rising to life. Jesus' resurrection makes all the difference in the world and to the world. Hope is alive! Salvation is alive! Peace is alive! Love is alive! Jesus Is Alive!

The demons recognized who Jesus was. The children recognized who Jesus was. The stones and all of creation recognized who Jesus was. The religious people did not recognize who Jesus was, and the Triumphal Entry makes this very clear. Jesus weeps over them, because they will lose the peace He could have brought to Jerusalem, if they would have recognized who He was. And if you do not recognize who He is, you also will not know real peace in your life.

Jesus trusted His spirit into the hands of the Father. He knew the Father would take care of Him. Are you trusting your spirit to the Father? In the dark night of the soul, in the valley of the shadow of death, the Father is there, and He is trustworthy.

We see on the cross, Jesus, bringing His ministry to where He said it would go, and where He will die of His own choice. Jesus willingly laid down His life, no one took it from Him, to finish His work. It is finished, the victory is won!

On the cross Jesus takes care of His earthly family and His spiritual family.

Once forgiveness has happened there are certain steps that the offender must take in order for the relationship to be restored. If these steps are not followed there can be no restoration, even when you have forgiven the offender.

In order to be forgiven, Jesus said, we must forgive. First you must experience forgiveness flowing to you, then forgiveness can flow from you. How does this happen? By looking to Jesus as He is on the cross. Beaten, flogged, tortured, naked, dying, He does what He has told His disciples to do and what He calls us to do, He forgives. “Father forgive them…”
